This is a telescopic whip antenna with 5.6m long if it is fully extended, and only 0.5m long when it’s collapsed. Very rugged built with high quality stainless steel. Since it is telescopic, the antenna could work on the bands higher than 20m, 20m-6m etc. The antenna is able to work on 40m and 80m bands with loading coils. With a base unit (you could DIY), it could be deployed vertically, and with a hub, it could be deployed horizontally or in V-dipole style. The whip here is designed and sold to be a part of your final DIY antenna, and no other parts(screws, nuts, washers, base units and hubs) except the whip itself are provided.
