RGB LED Clock | Vintage Nixie Clock Alike | Modern Lixie Clock

It is a RGB LED based “Nixie Tube Styled” clock, when displaying time, it looks like the clocks made of nixie tubes that exists in the old days. It has other features like colorful displaying, power saving, and stunning, shining animations. For the “nixies” in this kind, there is a more accurate name called “Lixie”, a nixie made of rgb leds.

The core of this clock is the RGB LED, controlled by a MCU to display variuos colors. Each bit of the clock consists of several transparent acrylic sheets, and the displayed numbers(digits) on the acrylic sheets are engraved by a CNC miller. The light from the RGB led will be reflected by these acrylic sheets, so the numbers engraved on the sheet are revealed by the colorful light of the RGB leds from the bottom. The numbers displayed on acrylic sheets are like the numbers displayed from the vintage nixie tubes.
The clock uses a built-in high precision RTC, and the time will not be lost if it is powered off. With the 6-digit design, the clock is able to display HOUR, MINITUE and SECOND. It is a full assembled unit, no assembly is needed. It is a stunning and shining ornament clock for your desktop.
