MA-12 is a ruggedly built multiband vertical antenna for HF+6M. The main designing concept of this antenna is high performance, light-weight and versatile, which makes it an ideal antenna for ham radio multiple operation occasions like SOTA, POTA and field day activities. The antenna is made of high quality aluminum parts with aluminum anodizing process.

The antenna is a ground-mounted quarter-wave length vertical with 4 grounding wires, and you could add more grounding wires to improve the total efficiency of the antenna. There is only one coil for 40m band operation, and no coils needed for other bands, just to extended or shorten the whip to the specific position(marked by laser engraving), which enhances the total performance.

The assembly, tuning and disassembly of this antenna is very straightforward, just in 10 minutes. The band positions for tuning are marked on the whip by laser for ease of tuning. The antenna is stored in a fishing rod bag, and it weighs only 1.8kg. In summary, it would be a great antenna for Travelling, and for other ham radio activities like SOTA, POTA and Field Day operations.
